AFLOATBNB was founded by Mr. Nielsen, a passionate yachtsman with more than 50 years of sailing experience across all types of boats and yachts.

Over the years, friends frequently joined him at marinas, islands, and waterfront destinations not because they loved sailing, but because they loved the unique experience of staying aboard a boat.

Mr. Nielsen realized that many people dreamt of spending holidays on the water, surrounded by the peaceful marina lifestyle, even if they had little interest in sailing itself.
